Crickets recorded at night, in my garden, in summer. Recorded with a tascam dr-05. The sound was post-processed with audacity to remove the background noise (it was a stormy weather). This is the unprocessed version of my "sci-fi ambient drone" upload. It's creative commons cc0, so please treat it as public domain. You can use it in any commercial or non-commercial media for free, no restrictions. I took a quick 8-second drum loop from my teenage engineering po-33 (ko) and ran it through a free time-stretching/pitch-shifting program called akaizer. This program is based on old samplers like the akai s1000 that had extremely artifact-heavy time-stretching and pitch-shifting features. If you slow a sound down enough, the final product tends to sound harsh and electric. Akaizer turned my 8-second drum loop into 2 minutes and 38 seconds of harsh, bassy noise, pretty damn close to the final. Enjoy :).
I needed a wall of crickets but could not find a decent one so i used some samples and multiplied them to make it sound like hundreds of crickets. Enjoy. Nice to fall asleep to, but the loop points could use some fixing-up.
I have recorded a sound made by crumpling a paper. Then i have recorded the noise made by scratching a streaked lid with a spoon. Then i have generated a pluck ( pitch 100), repeated it till the end, and added a “wahwha effect”. I used audacity.

This short sound clip is from the metalworking shop next door here in tijuana. It has some sections where they hammer twice in a row with two different pitches, it's quite melodic and unique. There is some very light ambient traffic and music noise.

Note e. Atmospheric cinematic pad. I recorded the guitar, then processed a lot of reverb and added some synth sounds. You can put it in the sampler by setting the root note to e and you will have a complete instrument. I especially like to layer on it additionally the sounds of the waves that i put on my page before.
Sounds like space ambience/a sci-fi space station. Did this today while messing around in audacity. This sound was created by blowing into a microphone while slowly changing pitches. Afterwards i slowed down the sound, added the baseboost filter, and lowered the pitch of the sound. Feel free to use this with or without giving credit to me, i really don't care. It literally took me 2 minutes to make.

I've decided to experiment with random frequencies slowly filling canvas and blending into a single timbre. For this piece they emerge with quite an amount of time and there is no distinct frequency to form a tone. This experimentation produces quite a hauinting sound consisting of small parts.
